Copper is an essential trace mineral to help support a healthy coat, boost the immune system, and aid in the prevention of Copper deficiency. These convenient, long-lasting boluses contain Copper Oxide particles to act as a slow-release source of Copper. When the bolus reaches the stomach, the gelatin capsule quickly dissolves to release the Copper particles. The copper then imbed in the rumen and slowly dissolve to gradually release copper.
